Using Walnut Hills High School library, find an article about Lord of the Flies. After reading this article several times, write a summary of the main points and your agreement or disagreement of the main ideas of the article.

Analysis of the novel can be from many different perspectives:

symbolism
theme
literature as allegory
twentieth century writing characteristics
art imitates life

Rather than restating the entire article, write a summary,( this means in your own words)
of the main points in the article. Sometimes critics give a synopsis of the novel which you
can omit.
Refer to the article and the novel when stating your opinion.

Research
We will work in the library 10/29,30/09 during class. After that library visits will be on an individual basis.

Format
Use the standard organization of introduction, body and conclusion.
Must have bibliography as last page.
Length is 2 pages handwritten or 1 ½ pages typed. (regular font, 12inches)
